Woocommerce Donation Processing

We don’t have plans to do that at all. We do believe that Donations are different from product sales and donors should not have to go through a cart and checkout system in order to donate. Additionally, we believe Give is very full-featured and should provide all that you need for processing, reporting, and notifications.

But I’d really like to hear what your needs are in those area because we provide many tools for each of those things that you might not be aware of and I’d be happy to point you to.

Let me know your exact needs with your donations on your site and I’ll provide as much info as I can.

I have this same request. To answer your question about why someone would need this …. we have a number of other add-ons to woocommerce such as advanced reporting, follow-on emails, advanced customer records none of which will show any information about a customers donation with give. While I agree that making a donation simple through a one page checkout is optimal, I need to be able to provide customer reports –?containing all of their actions on our site – to the customers, our constituents and our bookkeepers.

I am frankly in love with Metorik reporting which is light years ahead of anything that I am seeing. It solves so many issues for me, and that was the main reason I thought I would ask.

That’s kind of you to say Jake! ?? Perhaps a custom plugin could ‘replicate’ the GiveWP data into WooCommerce orders for integration with apps like Metorik. Definitely an interesting thought.
