Hi there, many customers are telling us that they are not receiving confirmation or tracking mail and in fact the site is not sending them anymore.

When i tried to sent them manually, they didn’t go.

I have SMTP Plugin active since my site is live.

    What i have to do?

    Hi @giacomohemp

In most cases, if an email is not being sent/received, then the issue is not with WooCommerce itself but with the email function on your web host.

As a first step, you may consider installing a plugin such as WP Mail Logging. This will allow you to access all outgoing email logs from your site. If you observe that mail is being sent, it’s worth inspecting your SMTP settings.

If the issue still continues, please review our email sending FAQ for help, troubleshooting steps, and solutions here: https://woocommerce.com/document/email-faq/

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Hoi there, I have installed it, but what i have to do now?

I have to wait that someone makes an order to see if the mail goes?

A quick way to test this is placing a test order on your site; you could enable the Cash on Delivery option to avoid using a credit card or setting your payment gateway on sandbox mode.

Please give it a try and let us know how it goes!

    Thanks!

Hi,looking at the plugin, all the emails of the last orders say this: SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host. Failed to connect to server

    Hey, @giacomohemp!

    Thanks for sharing the error.

The error “could not connect to SMTP host” generally indicates that your web server isn’t able to connect to the SMTP server. There could be a firewall between your web server and the SMTP server or something similar.

Please contact your host and let them know about the issue so they can investigate this further.

Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help or if you have any questions.

    Have a wonderful day!
