WooCommerce does not honor order of payment options

    I’ve installed your plugin on my client’s website, but now it defaults to that payment option, when we’d prefer it default to “Credit Card” payment.

    The order of plugins is such that CC is above the paymentplugins.com option under WC > Settings > Payments but WooCommerce isn’t honoring that configuration for some reason.

    Help?

    Okay, this may NOT be an issue after all – when I tried the same process in an incognito browser window it shows the first option selected.

    I’m guessing it may be that it simply defaults to select what was used for the last payment method?

    Standard WooCommerce behavior sets the default payment method to what’s set in the WooCommerce session variable chosen_payment_method which is always the payment method used last by the customer.

    This is all WC functionality that’s not related to the Stripe plugin. If you want to customize that, just change the chosen_payment_method session variable to the payment option you want selected as the default in all cases.

    Not sure what you mean by “stripe plugin” but thank you for confirming what I’d posted about earlier regarding defaulting to the last-used payment method.

    I meant PayPal plugin. We support one of the most popular Stripe plugins for WooCommerce, so sometimes terminology gets confused.
