Woocommerce: Display recent products

Hi … I have a working woocommerce site with a very dynamic and ever changing product set. I would like to add a new nav bar item ‘latest products’ with maybe three sub items ‘last day’, ‘last week’ and ‘last month’. Can anyone suggest how this might be achieved, please ? I can’t see any woocommerce short codes that might be used to directly achieve this so I guess that it has to be done with code to eliminate all items from a larger list apart from those which meet the date criterion.
Can anyone give me any guidance as to the best way to achieve this, please ?
