    Hi everyone.
    Yesterday I updated WooCommerce (and others plugin) to latest version, but at a certain point has appeared this message: “The Site Is Experiencing Technical Difficulties”. Then I received the automatic email from WordPress explaining the problem: one plugin’s update has crashed, so with the recovery mode I completed the update and the site has back to work. While I was checking if in my website was everything ok, I noticed that WooCommerce plugin was completely disappeared from my dashboard. In fact, if I navigate in my shop page, this is totally empty. You can see the shop page in the link I have attached.
    I tried to reinstall WooCommerce but this is the message that appears: “Installation failed, folder already exists”.
    Please, can someone help me?
    How it can be possible that WooCommerce has suddenly disappeared?
    Can someone help me to restore my shop and all the products?

    How it can be possible that WooCommerce has suddenly disappeared?

    This is probably due to the crash. Something went wrong during the update of some plugin, not necessarily WooCommerce, and the process stopped in half, after partially deleting WooCommerce.

    Now you have the WooCommerce plugin folder, but it cannot be used because the file is incomplete.

    You need to connect via FTP or cPanel and remove the folder, then install WooCommerce again. This will solve the issue.

    If you are not sure about how to do it, I recommend contacting your host, they should be able to help you with removing the folder.

    Ok, the process you are suggesting me it’s clear but I have a question.
    If I delete the folder, How can I then recover all the products I have loaded on WooCommerce?

    @rebeccasem deleting the folder won’t affect the products etc in the database – I’ve had to do it myself a couple of times – after you install WooCommerce again, all your data will still be there!

    Hi I have the same problem, can someone help me on how do I delete the original folder? I cannot find the woo plugin on the list of my plugins, but also cannot install the plugin mentioned above, because it tells me the folders already exists.

    Hi. Have you find a solution? Sorry, but I really don’t know how to help you. What I can suggest you, is to open a new post.
