• Hi – Last night I attempted to update woocommerce to the most recent version, however the update failed and I received a brief notification saying that the update had failed and the plugin has been disabled. After that, the woocommerce plugin is no longer in the plugins admin section. However, the woocommerce folder is still in the plugin folder on the server. I’m using Tienda theme which is built specifically for woocommerce. If I reinstall woocommerce will I loose all my settings, for products.
    Thank you for any assistance.

You won’t lose anything if you re-upload the plugin via ftp to wp-content/plugins then activate it again.

OK. I used vaultpress to restore the site. So it’s up again. But I’m reluctant to try updating woocommerce again until I figure out what’s causing the site to keep having random “Oops! That page can’t be found” errors when navigating to posts, pages and plugins in Admin. Not to mention failing and then disabling plugins!
Any pointers would be much appreciated.
    Thanks again.

Ah, sorry Mike, I didn’t see you quick reply. In any case, do you think I should try and update again or try some testing first?
    Thanks.

Hello again, I decided to update woocommerce again via the admin plugin page. This time I received a failed update message again. However the plug-in actually did update. I need to figure out what’s causing this problem, wondering what the best procedure would be to solve it?
    Thanks.
