woocommerce dimensions switcher

    We have a woocommerce store where the item are sold by the square meter but we need to be able to change the dimensions to feet, inches or mm. Have anyone done this or can suggest a why for the site user/customer to do this from the front end of the site.

    We are using Measurement Price Calculator to get the square meter options.

    I checked and don’t think MPC supports this. I think you’d need to go for a javascript based calculator which sets the square meter value based on user input. This would likely need to be custom made right now (jobs.wordpress.net) but by all means log the feature request on ideas.woothemes.com

    How are the calculation fields current display created, is it via jquery or php?

    Fields are PHP – hooked in functions. The calculations will be jquery.

    Hi Mike, I’ve submitted ticket to Wootheme as I have purchased this product and know one can come back to me. The big one being that the Measurement Price Calculator shortcode doesn’t work. It look like the jquery is not firing.

    Hi Mike, sorry to bother you again but really need your help with this. He’s a bit of a brick wall with the measurement price calculator plug-in. I had a few developer look at it and can’t get measurement unit to switch. Do you have any further suggestion or have any suggestion for any other plugin that can do this.

    One option is to create a plugin from scratch, which hooks do we need to interact with to edit a products price of a product.
