I’m getting this too but don’t use this plugin.. I’m thinking it’s a Woo issue…

Please share earlier lines from the error log because they will indicate the plugin that is triggering the warning. It is not possible to determine the root cause of the warning from the 2 lines of the error log that you shared.

I am seeing similar issues and it cripples my server. It seems to only occur when people access wp-admin.

For my client, this is being caused by the Store Credit for WooCommerce by Kestrel plugin. It is only Woo version 8 compatible (as at v4.5.4). They’ve done very few updates (tut tut).

To find out which plugin was causing the issue, I ran this command from the /wp-content/plugins/ folder on my Linux backend CLI..

grep -r "add_plugin_item"
grep -r "add_plugin_category"

This will list all references to this code and you can open the file names shown to see if there is any code to manage versions.
Ignore this file: woocommerce/src/Admin/Features/Navigation/Menu.php

it s working again, I delete the plugin WP 3 CACHE, and Wordfence Security if it can help you

I too am having this error. Using the instructions from @acwporg mine comes from WooCommerce Subscriptions

Thanks for sharing the updates. As this warning doesn’t come from our plugin, please report this issue on the support forum of a respective plugin that is triggering the warning on your site.

Just to add, I’m having the same issue and on my site it is due to the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin.

Considering it is developed by WooCommerce, I’d expect them to be on top of this!

@metalfurydesign maybe they can get WP Engine to help… ??
