Woocommerce Default to Shipping Address

You are correct that when changing your shipping settings to Default to Shipping Address, it won’t remove the Billing Address fields. You would need to use a plugin like Checkout Field Editor to remove these lines: https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-checkout-field-editor/

Please note that there is risk in disabling core fields, as we’ve seen it cause other types of conflicts, so you’d want to test this before deploying.

I also found a snippet that works as well: https://wpbrainery.com/woocommerce/remove-billing-fields-woocommerce/. You would just want to be sure to use something like Code Snippets to safely add this code if you aren’t familiar with editing PHP files.
