    Hi,

I am currently working on a woocommerce site and I am not sure how to fix this issue.

The WooCommerce Default Sorting is not showing at all on my product category pages. I have set it up on Customize > Product Catalog > and set the Default Product Sorting to “Default sorting (custom ordering + name) however it’s really not appearing on the frontend.

Can someone help me fix this issue please.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @phoenixoracle

Thanks for confirming that you’ve applied the settings: Customize > Product Catalog > and set the Default Product Sorting to “Default sorting (custom ordering + name)

This sorting is indeed not taking effect on the page you shared.

The reason is most likely the interference of a conflicting tool on the site.

I would first recommend that you check whether the issue persists when you change to a default WP theme like Twenty Twenty-One or Storefront, and deactivate all plugins apart from WooCommerce. If this issue does not persist at this point, you’ll want to reactivate your theme/plugins one by one until you find the one causing the issue. Here’s the conflict test guide for reference: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

If you don’t want to run the test on your live production site, you can create a duplicate/staging site. Many hosting providers offer site staging facilities, but if you don’t have such a feature, you can create one with the WP Staging plugin.

If nothing comes out of the conflict test, please share a copy of your site’s System Status. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

We’ll look forward to hearing from you on the progress.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m marking this thread closed – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
