    whenever it updates it breaks my site
    and it always sneaky update without my permission!
    could you guys notify people before doing that at least we can backup first?
    I just migrated my host today and the backup was at the middle of the migrating process and the update kicks in while I was still testing my site now its broken…

    If possible, could you share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, please paste it here in your response.

    Please note that normally, the WooCommerce database is not updated automatically. Instead, after a WooCommerce version update (files), you should see a warning that a database update is needed as well, and only then you can go ahead and initiate the database update.

    In any case, as a precaution, I’d recommend that you disable WooCommerce auto-updates temporarily (on the plugins’ page, at /wp-admin/plugins.php) on your original installation before running a new migration. After that, you may want to create a staging site for troubleshooting, and try there the WooCommerce update for testing.
