Woocommerce Database Update Announcement won’t go away

    I try to click the “Thanks” button, and nothing happens, it still comes back again and again.

    It’s an annoying pop up that won’t leave the screen.

    Generally when you click the “Upgrade WooCommerce Database” button, the status for the notice in the database is changed to actioned. If this status is stuck as unactioned in the database, it will cause the notice to continuing displaying, but not allowing you to perform the update again in an attempt to dismiss the notice.

    Something I would recommend is to check your database for the wc-update-db-reminder notice, and if it’s set to unactioned, change the status to actioned.

    Here’s how:

    * Access the wc_admin_notes table
    * Locate the wc-update-db-reminder entry
    * Change the status of that notice from unactioned to actioned
    * Save

    Thanks for your reply. I am not sure, but after logging out from my site and logging back in later, the message seems to have gone away. So I am marking this as resolved.
