    i received a message saying woocommerce data update it updated successfully i have embedded pdf files (with pdf embedder plugin) on my site but after the update i select a product where it should give me the pdf to download it shows the hole link and not the downloadable pdf file if someone please can assist me.

  • I would think that shortcodes are not rendered any more at that place. Have you tried using that shortcode on a regular page to see if the plugin itself is functional?

    If that works in regular post/page, you should ask the folks at woocommerce about shortcode rendering in product description.

    i did test in on one of my other pages and it is working

    the only place where the short code doesn’t work is in my variations description.and thats where i need it to work.

    Ok. So I’d recommend you ask the folks at Woocommerce.com. My guess is they removed shortcode rendering from variations description. They will be able to help you.
