Yesterday I upgraded to WooCommmerce 8.2.2 from 7.3. When I did so, it wiped my entire sales data in the Analytics section.

I went to clear the analytics cache, then I reimported all store data and viola, all my data reappeared. Except now, it won’t show me any sales data from today. We made about 15-20 sales today and nothing is showing up in analytics, it’s all showing as $0.00, but if I go to reports, I can see the sales data there.

    Here is what I’ve done:
    – Navigate to WooCommerce → Status → Tools and Clear Analytics Cache
    – I pressed “Import Historical Data
    – I have “Completed Orders” checked as “Actionable Status”
    – It says the orders are successfully imported

But still…no data? Does anyone have any suggestions or help?

  • Hi @gamutio,

Yesterday I upgraded to WooCommmerce 8.2.2 from 7.3. When I did so, it wiped my entire sales data in the Analytics section.

From what I understand, you’re experiencing an issue where your current sales data is not appearing in the Analytics section after upgrading to WooCommerce 8.2.2, even though you’ve successfully cleared the Analytics cache and imported historical data. I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’re facing, and I’ll do my best to assist you.

Firstly, I commend your efforts in troubleshooting the issue. You’ve done the right thing by clearing the Analytics cache and importing historical data. However, it seems like the issue persists.

Here are a few additional steps you could try:

    1. Update Plugins and Themes: Ensure all your plugins, themes, and WordPress are up-to-date. Sometimes, outdated versions can trigger issues.
    2. Check your cron jobs: WooCommerce uses WordPress cron jobs to schedule events like updating your reports. If the cron jobs are not running properly, it can cause delays or inaccuracies in your reports. You can use a plugin like WP Crontrol to check if your cron jobs are running as expected.
    3. Check the Date Range: Please ensure that the date range in your analytics section includes today’s date. It might be set to display data up until yesterday.
    4. Update your database: Sometimes, the database might need to be updated after a major WooCommerce update. You can do this by going to WooCommerce → Status → Tools and clicking ‘Database update’.
    5. Disable any conflicting plugins: Sometimes, other plugins can interfere with WooCommerce. Try disabling all other plugins, then check if the Analytics data updates. If it does, you can enable the plugins one by one to identify the one causing the issue.
    6. Switch to a default theme: Similar to plugins, themes can also cause conflicts. Try switching to a default theme like Storefront and see if the issue persists. Here’s a handy guide on testing for conflicts: ?? How to Test for Plugin and Theme Conflicts.

If you’ve tried all the above and your issue persists, could you please provide us with a screenshot of your Analytics settings? This will help us diagnose the problem better. You can share screenshots at https://snipboard.io. Just follow the instructions on the page and paste the URL in your response.

We would also find it helpful to see your site’s System Status report. This can give us a better idea of your site’s setup and help us pinpoint the problem. You can find the report under WooCommerce > Status. Choose Get system report and then Copy for support.

If there are any fatal error logs, please share those too. You can find them under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Once you’ve gathered this information, please paste it inside a Code block in your reply, or use https://pastebin.com to paste it and share the link with us.

Thanks for your patience and cooperation in this matter! We’re here to help you get this sorted.
