Woocommerce Customer Data and Analytics

In Woocommerce we have no data to display for customers or analytics.
In the analytics section we see this error: “There was an error getting your stats – please try again”
In the analytics > settings section of WooCommerce we imported historical data which showed progress but didn’t show us any new data. No data shows in any of the analytics pages, revenue, orders, etc.
In the WooCommerce Orders section we have customers, with their orders and all the data that comes with a sale. But there is no data in the customer section.
We used a plugin called WebToffee to import customer data via CSV, while importing this shows that it was importing duplicate data. This suggests that the website has the data already in the database somewhere but its not displaying in the customer section.
I wonder if these two above issues are related in some way?
I have switched to a default storefront theme. This made no difference to the data displayed. I have also disabled all the plugins individually and that hasn’t solved the issue.
Another issue we are facing is that if we have billing and shipping addresses that are different the postage defaults to the billing address, which if in separate countries means the weight based shipping is not correctly applied.
Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated.

I can’t see any fatal error logs in WooCommrce > Status > Logs. I can only see this list. Would the title of the log be “fatal error” or would a fatal error be inside one of the logs listed?

Thank you for sharing the system status report. Currently, everything appears fine in the report.
To troubleshoot further, could you please try clearing the Analytics data cache and see if that resolves the issue? You can do that by going to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and running the Clear Analytics Cache tool.
If the issue persists, please try the following steps:
- Deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce.
- Switch to a default WordPress theme, such as Storefront.
- Reimport the historical data by following the instructions in this article:

I’ve been through the steps you provided above and I’m sorry to report that none of them fixed the problem. The customer section and the analytics section are still without data.
I use the Divi theme builder by Elegant themes which has a safe mode which I enabled to see if that helped – unfortunately it didn’t.

Sorry to hear it’s still happening. Can you check if the import historical data includes the date range from when your site went live or the specific data you’re looking for?
Please try these steps again in sequence after backing up your site:
- WooCommerce > Status > Tools and running the Clear Analytics Cache tool.
- Go to Analytics > Settings then scroll down to Import Historical Data
- Clear your browser cache to make sure you’re not loading old data.
After following the steps above, please check the analytics section again and share a screenshot if you see any error messages. Looking forward to getting this sorted out.

As the next step, please try manually updating your database by navigating to WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Update Database. If the update is stuck in the scheduled actions queue, you can manually run it from there to ensure it completes.
After that, repeat the steps outlined earlier to see if everything is working correctly

Could you share screenshots and describe what you see on the screen when importing with WebToffee? Are there any error messages? Were there any successful imports before (and if so, did they include the duplicate data you mentioned)? Also, please list the steps you take during the import process. This will help us better understand the situation if the issue is still happening.
If you think screenshots won’t capture everything, you can use a service like loom.com to record your screen and share with us, if possible.
Another issue we are facing is that if we have billing and shipping addresses that are different the postage defaults to the billing address, which if in separate countries means the weight based shipping is not correctly applied.
About the billing and shipping address issue (we missed addressing this earlier), it’s unusual that postage defaults to the billing address. In WooCommerce, shipping rates should be calculated based on the shipping address.
First, please check your shipping zone settings to make sure they’re set up correctly. Then, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Shipping Settings and check if the shipping destination is set to “Default to customer shipping address,” as shown in this screenshot.
Lastly, from your system status report, I see you’re using WooCommerce Weight Based Shipping (version 6.2.0, the latest version). If the first two steps don’t fix the issue, I’d recommend checking their documentation for setup instructions or reaching out to their support forum if some features aren’t working as they should.
If the settings look correct but the problem persists, please share a screenshot of your shipping zone settings and any relevant details so we can investigate further.

Unfortunately the issue is not solved but I like the way you have dialled in on what could be potential issues. .The WooCommerce store has been running for several years. There is a lot of customer data in the customer section. See attachment. 814 orders. Customer data shows in this section. But when we go to the Customer section there is no data. Surely the recent transactions should appear here?
When I import the csv file you can see what happens in the screenshots. It skips 99% of them saying there is already data. But when I then go into the customer section it is empty still. If I instead go to the users section there are 10 pages of users. I wonder if the data is in the database but it is not being processed into the correct sections of the admin area.
The postage issue turned out to be user error so that is solved for now.Thanks for your time and effort.

I am awaiting a reply form Webtoffee. But the issue is not just with them. Webtoffee was just importing historical data from over 1 year ago.
For a whole year new orders have been placed but the data from those sales is not being fed into the customer section. Something bigger that a plugin problem seems to be going on.I wait in anticipation.
