    Hi,

I’ve read the topic about this issue on this forum and looked at the GitHub bug fix for the same here: https://github.com/wcvendors/wcvendors/pull/694

However, I’m still facing this issue after having updated to 2.2.2 (the latest version as of writing). I tried re-creating the same issue on a completely clean install with just WooCommerce and WC Vendors, and it still breaks. On my website, the CSV import works when I disable WC Vendors.

I also looked at this link: https://docs.wcvendors.com/knowledge-base/import-export-vendor-products/ which explains how to add the “vendor_id” field in the CSV import.

The strangest thing is that the “Vendor ID” field was a mappable option in WooCommerce CSV Import in WC Vendors 2.2.1 – but after updating to 2.2.2 I no longer see the option to map “vendor_id” -> “Vendor ID”.

Please help me figure out why WooCommerce’s CSV import won’t work with your plugin.

    Thanks. ??

    Hello there,

There should have been a patch for the issue that you’ve provided, I tested this from my end and it seems to work for some of my products and not on some which I cannot get the remote images. Here’s a sample import log error from my end – https://share.getcloudapp.com/jkuYKlr9

Could you also provide me the import log of your test so we could also add it within the escalation? Thanks in advance!

I would love to get you the import log but I don’t know how to access it; the import never actually *finishes*, it just stays stuck at the “Importing products…” view with 0% progress.

You said there could be a problem with remote images? I’ll try and run a test with images stored locally and get back to you with the results.

In the meantime, please let me know if there’s a way I can access the import log. ??

    Thanks!

Also, I noticed that you haven’t addressed the “vendor_id” field issue either; I need this to work too so I can import my products and attribute them to the correct vendor.

    Hi There,

Indeed, the import log is only accessible after the import is done. Could you please check your WooCommerce error logs if there are anything from there that could be related with WC Vendors?

For the Vendor ID, it seems that I was able to map it from my end – https://share.getcloudapp.com/geuoWR7G

Furthermore, could you please try to proceed with our debugging guide and see if it would be helpful – https://docs.wcvendors.com/knowledge-base/the-debugging-guide/

Hi there, I checked the screenshot you sent but that’s not what I meant. Yes, I can see the “Vendor ID” field on the left (because it’s in my CSV), but does it exist in the right dropdown?

Even in your screenshot, the field says “Do not import,” when it is supposed to say “Vendor ID”

Also, I went through the debugging guide you gave me and it does not help. ??

I’m at a loss; I think I shall have to go ahead with a different plugin.

Thank you for your help. ??

    Hello @dzainein ,

May I ask if you could please provide us the CSV file that you are using so that we can try them on our environment?

    Thank you!

    Hi @dzainein

Jamie here, I’d like to apologize about the confusion. We disabled our import/export overrides as it was causing more troubles than it was helping. This is why the vendor_id is now absent.

We’re refactoring the entire import-export functions to work better with batches and not interfere with WooCommerce. This will be re-enabled in our next version.

    cheers,

    Jamie.
