Woocommerce CSV Import not working

    Hi Woocommerce Team –

    I’ve read through many of the support topics but not finding a solution. I’m trying to import a store with about 250 products that have no variations nor pricing as we are using it to field inquiries of interest. For import purposes. I’m using the Storefont theme and disabled all plugins except for Woocommerce.

    Upload and column mapping went promptly and flawlessly. But the uploading wheel has been going for about 8 hours now. I have not disturbed the browser page.

    The hosting environment is Godaddy Managed WordPress hosting.
    PHP version 8.0.
    WordPress version 6.3

    Can you assist? Offer insight or suggestions for helping me move this along?

    Based on your explanation, it looks like there might be a timeout or memory issue that is causing the import process to stall. Here are a few suggestions:

    1. Increase PHP Time Limit and Memory Limit: You can do this by contacting your hosting provider (GoDaddy in your case) and ask them to increase these limits. The recommended settings are a PHP time limit of 1200 and a PHP memory limit of 512M.
    2. Check Server Error Logs: There might be a specific error that is causing the import to fail. You can check this in your hosting control panel or ask your hosting provider to do it for you.
    3. Import in Smaller Batches: Sometimes, importing a large number of products at once can cause issues. Try breaking down your import file into smaller chunks and import them separately.
    4. Check File Format: Ensure that your CSV file is correctly formatted. You can compare it with the sample product CSV file provided by WooCommerce.

    Additionally, you can try importing using an additional plugin like Product CSV Import Suite or WP All Import.

    Hey! I also had a memory limit problem, therefore I tried WP Ultimate CSV Importer PRO. But I still had a problem at first, but I was able to overcome it.
