    Hi,

    This site is using “PayPal Express Checkout Payment Gateway for WooCommerce ( Basic )” plugin by WebToffee.
    When customers go to complete an order via the PayPal payment option, at the back end of Woocommerce, it creates multiple orders in “pending payment” status. Then followed by the same order with a “Processing” status. The “Processing” status that correct order as the PayPal payment is successful. However, why are there all these order with “pending payment” status? They don’t dissappear and have to be manually moved to trash.

    The “Enable stock management” function is also disabled.

    Hi @judyangel,

    Our plugin creates a pending order when the customer moves to the Paypal page for payment and once payment is completed, the order will be updated with PROCESSING status. In a scenario where the user abandons the Paypal page, the order remains in Woocommerce with the status Pending payment. These orders won’t be deleted automatically.
    We will be including an option in the next plugin release to change the workflow so that pending orders won’t be created when the Paypal page is abandoned.
