    Hey @mfarrag2050 ,

Thanks for contacting us about Facebook for WooCommerce! I am happy to help out ??

We often see this issue come up when there are non-ASCII characters in the page title. I took a look and noted that there are some non-ASCII characters in the title of the site. This data gets saved to Facebook in a field called wc_facebook_external_business_id and we will want to change this to see if it allows your connection to Facebook to complete successfully.

There is a method to change this within the site itself, so let’s start by trying out the steps to change this to see if it helps:

    1. Go to https://www.SITENAME.com/wp-admin/options.php
    2. Search for wc_facebook_external_business_id
    3. In the field next to it, change the data in that field to just the basic title of the page without any extra characters in place.
    4. Scroll to the bottom of this page and click Save Changes.
    5. In some cases, the data may not be saved due to larger databases and / or PHP settings, so after saving this, locate the wc_facebook_external_business_id field again and verify that the changes in place did save.

Once this is done, can you please try to connect to Facebook again and let me know if you get any further in the connection process?

    Cheers,
    Steve

    hi @skyvergesteve,
i followed you instruction and the connection was successful , thank you.
I could not save the changes due to a problem with PHP or the server
So I opened PHPMYADMIN and searched for “wc_facebook_external_business_id” inside the database and made the change
    It was faster and easier.
    thank you

in this topic, I found the best solution

Hello Steve and thanks for your support,

I get the same error message. I think it’s due to my Russian website title.

When I go to https://www.sitename.com/wp-admin/options.php and, following your comment, I rename “wc_facebook_external_business_id” with my website title, but I can’t save it.

Do you have any tip to resolve this issue?
    Thank you again!

I tried everything Mr.Steve Mentioned but still find it hard to Correctly Integrate Store to my Facebook. Please be kind enough provide some other solution for this issue.

    TIA.

    Hello Steve,

I have the same issue. I followed your instruction, changed the field but it didn’t have the desired result. I still have the same error message when trying to connect to my facebook-page …
Do you have any further suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

    Martin

Heere is an additional Info, maybe that helps: I also found that on facebook in my account settings > business integration the WooCommerce Extension V2 was active. (I removed it after finding it because I thought it might interfere with a new try to get the thing working – but it didn’t help).
So the activation / setup procedure goes as far as activating the extension on facebook, but it doesn’t get back to WordPress / woocommerce ….
