Woocommerce conflicts with popup plugins

Can you help with this please? I’m not wedded to the idea of using popup plugins to achieve a popup but I do need one on my site to drive people to my woocommerce store but can’t

WooCommerce comes with many neat features out-of-the-box, like Store Notice.

As its name suggests, it will display a notice, site-wide. Feel free to customize according to your needs, as it also supports HTML.

This is great, thanks! Dunno why I didn’t think of it before I guess I thought it would only display on my store and not on the site itself. How do I customise it though?

Nope spoke too soon. The problem exists even with the store wide notice. It shows up on pages but doesn’t work on any of my posts. I really need it to work on posts because that’s where most of my site users land.

The store notice should work on posts as well. If you’ve dismissed it already; you can open a new private tab and copy&past one of your posts there to test it.

Yes, of course, it should work with posts but it doesn’t work with posts. I have tested it on private windows and non private windows and I’ve tested about 4 different popup plugins. None of them work on posts. Could you help me fix it please because I have no idea why it isn’t working on posts or how to fix it. I really need this to work in order to drive my preexisting traffic to my store page, thanks.

Can you please provide us with a clear screenshot of how the popup plugin is being displayed on posts (currently not being viewed) and on any normal page?

Furthermore, how is the popup being added to your site? Is it thru a plugin or a custom code? It would be nice to share the plugin’s name or the custom code for us to check this further.

On posts it is not being displayed at all. By posts I mean any blog posts I have written.

On pages it works as expected although I can’t really customise it as such. I have ditched plugins altogether and have opted for the site wide store message built into woo commerce but this is having the exact same problem. Working on pages but not on posts.

This is the case for all other pages too. For example care guides is a page as is chameleon info and they all display the popup as intended.

As you can see there is no site wide message popup and this is the case for every post I have made.

So just to be absolutely crystal clear. It works on every single page as intended but doesn’t work on any post at all.

To further add, the exact same issue occurs for every popup plguin I have tried. These are popup maker, popup builder, WP Popups, Hustle and another one but I forget the name. No popups of any kind are displaying on posts and it’s definitely to do with woocommerce because when I deactivate woocommerce plugin, the problem goes away and popup work on all posts and all pages with all of the above plugins.

Can you please try to switch to the default Storefront theme and see if this works?

Do you mean the notice worked on posts as well when switching to the Storefront theme?

If so, then your current theme is causing a conflict. The best place you can take this to is your theme author. Perhaps we can help based on their reply.
