    Greetings & thanks in advance,

Key Metrics will not display when Woocommerce is activated (confirmed via Health Check plugin in Troubleshooting mode).

Is there a way around this?

    Cheers, Neo.

Thanks for reaching out. While I’ll dedicate some time to checking this based on your support topic, please share the following so we can determine more on any possible conflict:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.?This will allow us to see the version of WooCommerce along with any other environment issues that may be impacting key metrics reporting.
    2. Is this occurring for all key metrics, or only specific metrics? Please share a screenshot or details of what you’re seeing. You can use a service such as Imgur or Jumpshare to share a screenshot, while using the form above to share this privately.
    3. When checking your key metrics widget once more via the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin with only WooCommerce and Site Kit active, please share any browser console errors that appear.?

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

    Hi James,

Thank you for your speedy response.

    1. I have completed the form as requested. Site Heath Data – https://jmp.sh/xV2oEAZb
    2. https://jmp.sh/CpjBaqhG
    3. https://jmp.sh/OS0RnTxD

I hope this helps track down the problem. Seems there are definitely some issues with GA at the very least. I assume that because no one else is having this issue that the problem resides with the GA account linked to this website? ie. it hasn’t been setup properly. I have to admit I had difficulty migrating from GA3 to GA4. So this is indeed very possible.

Not sure why Woocommerce is causing issues with Site Kit tho?

I am new to Key Metrics, so please forgive my ignorance.

    Regards, Neo.

Thanks for sharing these additional insights @neotek, and sorry to hear of the difficulties with migrating to GA4. If it’s any consolation, I checked your site and I can confirm you have GA successfully configured, and my site visits are tracking.

Just now I performed some checks on test sites with WooCommerce and in my case I don’t encounter the same. (screenshot of existing site with WooCommerce)

As you’re encountering a “Data loading failed” error, this could be caused by a hosting or third party plugin configuration, in particular as I can see a “Response is not a valid response” console error from the screenshots you kindly shared. I don’t suspect it’s related to any of your GA4 configuration.

To troubleshoot this further, please share the following:

    1. Do you see any warnings or errors when checking yourSite Health status? (Tools > Site Health > Status), which differs from your Site Health information requested above? Such errors may include REST endpoint references and may be useful to help determine a host level issue.
    2. Is it possible for you to share a recording of what you see when using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin from a Chrome browser incognito window – with only Site Kit and WooCommerce active? You can use a service such as Loom or RecordIt to share a screen recording, while using this form to share this privately if preferred.?

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

Hi @nrogeliosr. If you’d like to open an individual support topic we can communicate with you from there. Please include any details relevant to what you’re experiencing. This may include sharing your Site Health information and a mention of whether you were able to see this metric previously, and confirmation that all the other metrics do load as expected.

I’ll keep an eye out for your topic. Thank you!

As we didn’t receive a response I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist.

Just to let you know that should this issue remain for you, we have some workaround steps added to the related GitHub issue. By following the steps on here, you will be able to view the “Most popular products” key metrics tile once more.
