Woocommerce composite products scenarios not working

Working on a clients website: staging.grand-assembly.com Product (a motherboard) shows up as empty space in the motherboard selector: https://staging.grand-assembly.com/product/customize-your-own-pc/ When I added scenarios for that motherboard (in the composite product backend) the motherboard then showed up but was compatible with all products not just the ones I selected.

When I restored the website to a version that worked (after trying to fix it by deactivating and reinstalling composite products) I then tried to add the motherboard again. This time it only selected a couple extra processors. I made duplicates of those processors and deleted the originals, however when I tried removing one of the compatible processors all processors started showing up again. I tried deleting and reinstalling both woocommerce and composite products again and did not help. Very strange. I cannot find this problem online anywhere. I get no errors in php logs. Please advise on how to proceed. Should I just make a new install of wordpress and copy the products over? and reinstall all the plugins? I currently restored the site back to the way it was when the blank spot was showing up in motherboards, but I am still trying to fix it so it may change again.
