WooCommerce.com I can never logout

    Hi

    Just thought you should know that your “logout’ does not work. As I click Logout, then click Login, as I want to login on a different account and all that happens is I am ‘re-logged in’ to my own account.

    This is very very annoying, could you get it fixed ??

    Just thought you should know that your “logout’ does not work. As I click Logout, then click Login, as I want to login on a different account and all that happens is I am ‘re-logged in’ to my own account.

    This is because WooCommerce.com and WordPress.com accounts can be linked, so if you are signed into WordPress.com when you click Log In on WooCommerce.com, you’ll signed into the linked account immediately.

    To get around this, first log out on WooCommerce.com, then on WordPress.com. Then you can log in as whatever other account you need. ??

    I understand now. And that just annoys me even more, as I don’t want to be linked with WordPress.com

    What is the thinking behind that? Why do you force people to have a WordPress.com account just to enter WooCommerce?

    I wasn’t working in our WooCommerce division when that change occurred, so I can’t really explain the “why” from firsthand knowledge. That said, WordPress.com and WooCommerce.com are part of the same company (Automattic), so it makes sense to consolidate logins where possible.

    No worries, it may make sense from the owners point of view, just bloody annoying for user!
