Woocommerce choose 1 variation without clearing

Hi

Hoping someone can help me. We have products with 3 sets of variations: size, format and finish. Woocommerce default is you have to choose all three in order to get the description. Is it possible to set it to only choosing 1 variation? Then get rid of clear function?
