Working on an ecommerce store for a client and using the Woocommerce Plugin. Currently testing on a development site, so the menu only has a “Shop” link which points to the shop page. I’m noticing when the test order is completed – it takes you to the standard checkout/order-received page, but the 1st main menu item changes text changes to “Order Received”, but the url remains the same.

Here is a screenshot of the menu before visiting the My Account page related to Woocommerce.

After an order is replaced it automatically goes to the checkout/order-received/ endpoint, which results in the 1st menu item being changed. Seems anything related to the end-points changes the menu.

If I manually go to the ..my-account/edit-account page it shows the same change. See screenshot below.

Seems like any links triggered by the checkout and account endpoints – causes the 1st menu option text to change, but URL remains in place.

    Hi @mwgideon,

The menu displayed within your screenshots is actually not part of WooCommerce itself and is being generated WordPress and displayed within your theme. You can configure a custom WordPress Menu from WP Admin > Appearance > Menus

When testing on one of my installations my WordPress menu is not changing when I’m taken to the order received page. Below is a screenshot of what I experience with our free Storefront theme enabled and a custom WordPress Primary Menu menu applied.

Have you tested on the site using a different theme like Storefront. Using a plugin called Health Check and Troubleshooting you can change theme and only activate the WooCommerce plugin for testing.

    Hi there,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Kind regards,
