I’m getting a 520 error only my homepage when i try to edit https://kidbmerry.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=2&action=edit.

It works fine when I disable woocommerce, and it works when woocommerce is enabled alone.

This error occurred after the 4.8 update. However, the error remained when I tried rolling back to previous versions of woocommerce and wordpress. I’ve deleted and reinstalled with no success.

I have checked my debug logs and the only error shown in my error_log is this is the last listed error as of yet:

[15-Dec-2020 20:18:03 UTC] PHP Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/home/auj8g5j3dox6/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/wc-coupon-functions.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/alt/php74/usr/share/pear’) in /home/auj8g5j3dox6/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/wc-core-functions.php on line 20

There is one apache error that was shown twice since I’ve gotten the 520 error. It may be related but it doesn’t match the time of the 520 error and like i said it only shows up twice on Dec 15 and 18th.

    [Fri Dec 18 23:47:16.493371 2020] [access_compat:error] [pid 3511940:tid 140409097250560] [client 172.69.63.11:36108] AH01797: client denied by server configuration: /home/auj8g5j3dox6/public_html/wp-content/uploads/woocommerce_uploads/, referer: https://kidbmerry.com/wp-content/uploads/woocommerce_uploads/

I’d appreciate any help. I’ve been googling for weeks.

I understand you are getting the 520 error on your site after updating your WooCommerce to the latest version when you edit the homepage.

You did some conflict test where the page works fine when you either disable the WooCommerce plugin or enable the WooCommerce plugin alone.

It looks like a conflict issue on your site. We recommend referring to the following support document to understand how to do a conflict test:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

Let us know how that goes.

    Tseten,

I get the 520 error when I activate Woocommerce together with the following plugins:
    Jetpack (currently deleted)
    Kadence blocks
    Stackable
    Woocommerce blocks

It’s unrelated to the theme since i get the same error with any theme i switch to.

And my hosting nor my error_log picks up any errors along the timestamp.

    Hey @72ascott

It works fine when I disable woocommerce, and it works when woocommerce is enabled alone.

Do you mean that things work without any problems when WooCommerce is the only plugin activated? If that’s the case, which of the other plugins (Kadence blocks, Stackable, Woocommerce blocks) do you need to enable for the problem to return?

    @senff @tibetanitech

The 520 error appeared when enabling WooCommerce and enabling any one of the plugins I mentioned.

I believe I have resolved it with a full site backup restoration.

I’ll stick with the old version of WP for now. I wasn’t really able to pinpoint the issue but I’m assuming now that the WP update had something to do with it.

Thank you both for your assistance.
