Woocommerce Category Permalink

    Please help an apprentice woocommerce user. I would like to link to a product category page. i.e. on a page I talk about visiting the shop (a particular page in the shop) and I would like them to click on a picture to link to that page. However on normal pages you can find the link, I can also find the page link to the shop page but cannot find the permalink to a category under shop? Where would I find this?

    You can find the category link by first checking your permalink settings and then checking the category slug.

    The default category base is product-category. An example would be yourdomain.com/product-category/category-slug.

    You can check the product category base by accessing Settings > Permalinks > Scroll down to find Product category base.

    If your category slug is test-category (Products > Categories > You can find the category slug to the right of category name), then the product category permalink would be yourdomain.com/product-category/test-category.

    An easy way would be to add the Product Categories widget to your theme’s sidebar. This would list all the Product categories, and link them to the category page.
