WooCommerce Category Page Vs Custom Category page

Hello,
1.I found out that in a WooComerce product category page, If set it to “display both products and category” , them UNFORTUNATELY there is no separation between category and products. It all clutters up in a page. I dont know why they overlooked it.
Is there any plugin or simple way to make this product/category separation in woocommerce category page.
2. Hence, I want to go with a custom category page with woocommerce shortcode for product category. Now , my question is If I go this route, is there any SEO issue with my category page? The in-built category is more SEO friendly, I think.
