Woocommerce categories

Hello. I can set products to be not visible for not logged in users easily, but, can the same be achieved with product categories? Currently, I don’t see them in content type, and if I don’t do that, my search plugin keeps spouting out categories list in search results which I would like to hide. Thanks.
