Woocommerce breaks friend system Buddypress

    Hi,

    When I have the woocommerce plugin activated the button to accept a friend request in buddypress only works when opened in a new tab. If you click on it regularly it does nothing. When I deactivate the Woocommerce plugin the problem is solved. How can I fix this issue? I need both Woocommerce and Buddypress on my site.

    The issue still occurs when I activate the default wordpress theme and the problem is thus not theme related and is completely due to the Woocommerce plugin.

    I have the latest version of all the plugins listed. I also raised this question at the buddypress support but they told me that it is a woocommerce issue.

    Hi Con,

    Does this mean that somewhere a file doesn’t have the right permissions (e.g. 755)? How does one perform a full text search, is this possible on ftp or via ssh?

    That’s correct. You may want to contact your host to help reset file permissions as trying to do that manually is an extensive process. We’ll mark this issue as resolved and you are welcome to open a new thread after resetting file permissions.
