  • Hi @reutrachel!

OK! Which one were you hoping to change? There are several, which you can read more about here. You can also see the different emails in your email settings by going to WooCommerce > Settings > Emails in your site’s admin area.

how can I change the send trigger for this email?

There is no way to do this using out-of-the-box functionality. You could either write a customization, or handle the email functionality using something like AutomateWoo. If you were to go the AutomateWoo route, you’d want to disable the default emails completely and instead create workflows to mimic that functionality (with your desired changes, obviously).

how can I change the title and content?

AutomateWoo can do this as well, but this functionality is also available in simpler and cheaper plugins if that’s all you wanted to do. These plugins are third-party, but you can find them by Googling “WooCommerce customize emails” or similar.

    Hi!
thanks for the reply. I’ll be more specific.
I’m using both woocommerce booking and woocommerce follow-up extensions.
I’m sending all my emails trow the follow-up extension and not trow the basic woocommerce mailing option.
the only thing I can’t do is sending a .ics file using the follow-up extension. I can either sand a manual notification email and attach the file (under the booking menu) I want that email to be sent automatically a few minutes after the order is complete. the automatic option from the basic email list of woocommerce is uneditable and triggered to be sent 1 minute before the booked date and time.

to make a long story short, how can I send a .ics file with the booking date using the follow-up extension? (if it’s possible to do that using the AutomateWoo extantion, I’ll use that instead).

    thank you so much!

    Hi Rachel,

At the moment, there are no default options in either WooCommerce core, Bookings, AutomateWoo or Follow-Up emails to send an .ics file in a follow-up email. Practically speaking, this means that if this is a must-have feature, it would require additional customisation by a web developer or one of the customisation experts at https://woocommerce.com/customizations/.

Moving forward, please note that this forum is only geared towards supporting the core aspects of the WooCommerce plugin itself. For additional support with Bookings, Follow-up Emails (and AutomateWoo even though it’s not applicable at the moment), please open a support ticket at https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/
