Woocommerce Block > invalid JSON response

    Hi,
    when trying for example to update a “handpicked” block with a new product I get an invalid JSON response, the same with other blocks as well.
    I use storefront and everything is up to date.

    Any ideas? The woocommerce status report is below.

    Okay, this must be concerning. Let’s figure it out.

    From your site status, I can see that two of the configuration has met the minimum requirements.

    1. WP Memory Limit: ? 40 MB – It should be above 64 MB. You can learn different ways to increase that here – Increasing the WordPress Memory Limit
    2. MySQL Version is not up to date. You need at least MySQL-Version 5.6 to run WordPress and WooCommerce properly. You can contact your hosting provider to upgrade this for your site.

    It’s also possible that some other plugins are causing this so I will recommend testing this while having all other plugins deactivated except WooCommerce.

    Make sure to do the usual steps while troubleshooting –

    1. Keep a full backup of the site
    2. Clear your browser cache or test from a different browser
    3. Ask your hosting provider to share the error log.
    4. If you have any security/firewall enabled on your site’s server, make sure that is not blocking the default functionality of WordPress or WooCommerce.

    Hi,
    I contacted my host and they were kind enough to update the WP memory limit.
    MySQL they don’t update for customers, I would have to do this myself…is it easy?
    Today there was also a Storefornt Theme update.
    I deactivated the last three plugins I installed:
    CleverReach Newsletter Plugin
    Storefront Top Bar by Wooassist
    Customer Reviews for woocommerce
    After deactivation of all 3 I did not get any JSON invalid responses and could use the woocommerce features, bestsellers etc..
    I then activated the plugins one by one and it appears to be the Customer Reviews plugin which was conflicting, however after logging out, clearing cache etc and logging back in everything appears to be working fine for the moment…very strange…
