Woocommerce backorder

    An order is treated the same regardless of the status of the product. “allowed, but notify customer” simply refers to the frontend display of the product where it will tell the user that the product is on backorder.

    If I don’t want woocommerce to send emails with backorder info to customer, is there a option to switch it off?

    No; they have bought/paid for a product, so its correct they get confirmation.

    Unless I am missing something?
