    Hello
We have some problem with woocommerce filters and product attributes.
When we add a product to multiple categories then attributes from the product appear to filters view in each category.
The problem is when we add a lot of products to many categories and then there is too many unwanted cross-filters showing up in result because we want to display only particulat attrbutes per category in filter widget.

We work this around by blocking attributes per category using custom code but just wonder if there is any wordpress extension that would allow me for example to mark which attributes to display in particular category and which not?
    Thank you
    Dan

    Hey there,

This is usually handled by determining which attributes should show up with which categories – in your case, it sounds like there are a lot of different categories and attributes. From a taxonomy perspective, the best tip I can give you is to pare down any unneeded categories and or attributes that aren’t particularly relevant.

I don’t know of any plugin that can handle this – your best bet is likely custom code, which you’re already using, or refining your taxonomy further.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
