Trying to upload photos to the woocommerce app for a new product, every time it fails. However, it does end up in my wordpress media folder. Definitely not a file size image issue or file type as i’ve tried multiple sizes and file types. My client isn’t very tech savvy and wants to do all their inventory on the app, rather than the through the WP plugin on wordpress website.

  • Hi @arlomarketingdigital

It’s good to know that you’ve already checked the file size and type, as these are common factors that can cause issues. Since your images are showing up in your WordPress media folder, it seems like the problem might be related to the synchronization between your site and the WooCommerce app.

Firstly, could you attempt this on another device while using the same account to check if the issue persists? This will help us determine whether the problem is specific to the device, allowing us to conduct further investigations focused on that particular device.

If the issue only happens to that particular device, I would recommend the following:

    1. Ensure you’re using the latest version of both the WooCommerce app and the WooCommerce plugin on your WordPress site.
    2. Sometimes, a slow or unstable internet connection can cause problems with uploading files. If possible, try using a different internet connection to see if this resolves the issue.
    3. Clearing the cache on your device can sometimes fix issues with apps. You can usually find this option in your device’s settings.
    4. If all else fails, try uninstalling and reinstalling the WooCommerce app. This can often fix any underlying issues that aren’t immediately apparent.

If you’ve tried these steps and are still experiencing issues, it would be helpful if you could provide us with more information about the problem. For example, are there any error messages displayed when the upload fails? What device and operating system is your client using? This information will help us diagnose the problem more effectively.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Thanks so much for your response. I’ve exhausted all these options and still no luck.

I’ve attempted it on another device, and still the same.

I set up a trial store on a subscription under the 14 day free trial and was able to upload images to that store, narrowing it down to just this store being the issue (I hope).

I am operating on iOS iPhone 14 Pro Max, all hosted via BlueHost they’ve upped the file size limit and still nothing.

My client has exactly the same phone, and tried and tested on both, also tested on older versions of the iPhone.

Seems to be an isolated issue.

Hope we can figure it out somewhere.
