    I have run into some problems and it’s only this community to bail me out. I am praying someone will provide a solution somewhere

    So here is my story;

    I began creating a Woocomerce based store. Built everything under a different domain or call i sandbox. Once finished, I thought I could just create a different domain and switch them over. But, my host decided to copy everything from one domain to the order. (Database, products and plugins).

    I then deleted the first domain with all its content.

    Now, I want to generate an API key to connect with other devices. The system is identifying the previous user under the previous domain that has been deleted and not intended to be used any further.

    This user is admin@xxxx.com and this xxxx.com has been abandoned as all its content has been deleted, but WooCommerce’s REST API is still recognizing this user. How do I remove this user to create a new one under the current domain?

    What are the unforeseen effects of using the REST API with the current user?

    Thank you for your contributions in advance.

  • Hi @stanleyuroy11 – Can you fill us in a bit more on what type of request you’re using within the WC REST API that’s returning this type of error?

    Hi @jricketts4 ,

    Thank you for the comment. I am using a drop-shipping plugin. I know that, connecting with the email address I used previously will work, but I won’t have access to the email any further because everything about the domain has been deleted.

    As seen above, the content from the previous website was copied in its entirety, including the database. Therefore, originally the drop-shipping plugin was initially installed on the site that has been deleted before being copied over.

    So the issue is that, I want to reconnect to drop-shipping plugin using the current admin email on which the site is hosted and not the email that has been deleted and I won’t have any further access.

    Cheers

    Hi @stanleyuroy11,

    It sounds like this is something the drop-shipping plugin developers can help you with.

    I can also recommend the following places for more development-oriented questions:

    Additionally, I will leave this topic open just in case someone else wants to jump in.

    This thread has been inactive for a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
