    Hi, I'm dealing with a problem that has existed for longer than a week, perhaps up to a year. Besides updating WordPress and my plugins, I've recently deleted the Elementor Free plugin and changed to the Twenty Twenty Three theme from Astra. Since I really only use Chrome, I've not tried other browsers. I'm submitting this message to both the Yoast and WooCommerce wordpress forums.

I expect to be able to use both plugins without error messages.

My guess is that there's a conflict between Yoast SEO Free and Woocommerce, possibily related to the memory issue logged in the woocommerce logger.

My suggested solution is that you investigate the matter and kindly let me know if and when and/or how to fix it.

    I want to add that I did try using the health check plugin as well as manually deactivate all plugins and found that only when Yoast SEO is active does WooCommerce behave like this.

    I understand that your site encounters a critical error when both WooCommerce and the Yoast SEO plugin are enabled, is this correct?

    While it may be best to get support from the Yoast SEO plugin developers regarding this, this is not something I am able to replicate on my test site, which uses the latest version of WooCommerce core, as installing and activating the Yoast SEO plugin does not cause any critical errors on my end.

    The error message you’re seeing Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 41943040 bytes) (tried to allocate 20480 bytes) typically means that your website is reaching the maximum memory limit that’s been allocated to it.

    To resolve this issue you would need to increase your WordPress memory limit from?512M?to?1024M.

    You can reach out to your host for help with this. Also, you can read more about this in our?Increasing the WordPress Memory Limit?support documentation.

    Additionally, I’d also recommend bumping the PHP Time Limitup to 300 MB. Your host should also be able to help you out with this value change.

    Thanks for your reply Roxy. I’ll mention this to hostgator support if need be. Yes, because I’ve been getting memory errors for other things like gutenberg and admin pages you must be right it’s not necessicarily woocommerce related. I’ll mark as resolved for now. Thanks again.
