WooCommerce and "WP Better Emails"

I’m also using WooCommerce and WP Better Emails. I’ve been using WPBE for a couple of years and am awfully disappointed that WooCommerce doesn’t work with it (or vice versa).

From other questions I’ve seen around WPBE, the author doesn’t seem inclined to do much with the plugin beyond the features already included (which are excellent, by the way).

I am attempting to re-craft the WooCommerce email sent so that WPBE can wrap around them without breaking the WC emails. Is this how you handled it?

No i didn’t find a solution. I’m still using the default WooCommerce templates. But still looking for a way to slightly alter the WooCommerce templates.

For now i’m bound to alter the WooCommerce email templates (like email-header.php & email-footer.php). But WP Better Emails would still be a great addition!

Sorry for the lack of support but my job doesn’t leave me enough spare time to manage all feedbacks. I’ll try to answer every question you’ve asked.

Woocommerce already sends its emails HTML formatted. That means that WP Better Emails can’t wrap emails because they are already HTMLized. WP Better Emails only takes care of plain text emails.

I would like to add a lot of features but I haven’t so many time to achieve this. I’ll try to release a huge update at the beginning of 2013. You should pleased with what’s coming ??

As long as Woocommerce doesn’t let the user to choose between sending plain text or HTML emails, WP Better Emails could not work.
