Woocommerce and Payu Latam – Response page for digital products , downloads.

    Hi, i am from Colombia and i sell PDFs in my website. I use Woocommerce and Payu Latam and is configured correctly. The problem is that, when the user buy, the response page dont download the PDF, only show the invoice. In the woocommerce configuration i marked the force download option, and everything is correct… ?How can i do that when the user pay, the response page show the link to download? Thanks.

  • Si quieres incluir un link de descarga debes modificar el template de woocommerce para la respuesta de compra, creo que no hay forma de hacerlo con opciones, de todos modos creo que al email del comprador debe llegarle el link de descarga.

    Muchas gracias por tu respuesta Jairo. ?Hay alguna manera de hacerle saber al comprador que le llegará el producto al correo electrónico? ?Y me podrías recomendar algún post o vídeo donde se ense?e a realizar lo del link de descarga? La verdad, he estado buscando en toda la web y me ha sido difícil encontrar algo que explique esto. He visto sitios webs de comercio electrónico donde se compra, y la página a la que se llega ya tiene el link de descarga del archivo (Y parece nativa de Woocommerce) por eso me llama la atención el no poder tener esta opción.     Hi there,

    The download link will only be available on the order confirmation page if the payment was successful AND the order status has been marked as “Complete”. If that’s not happening on your site, you’ll want to take a closer look at:

    • Whether the product is marked as virtual & downloadable
    • Whether payment notifications from PayU is correctly reaching your site and updating the payment status (Usually seen in the order notes section of the order)
    • Whether the order status is updated to “Completed” successfull once the payment confirmation from PayU reaches your site

    If the order status is only changed manually by the shop owner at a later stage, then there’s currently no native setting in WooCommerce to show the download link. On possible workaround for that would be to *always* force the order to complete.
