    Hey,

I’m using TranslatePress to offer two versions of my website.
The default one is English (no language name in the url) and the other one is French (“/fr” in the url).
However, when accessing my shop cart and checkout pages, the WooCommerce sections keep loading. I tried troubleshooting for a while and noticed that everything works fine when removing “/fr” from the URL. The console gives me 3 500 errors :

What can I do to fix this issue? Is there a way to translate without /fr or is there a permalinks setting I can change ?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out and detailing the issue you’re experiencing.

To further identify the root cause of this issue, I would recommend performing a compatibility test. Here are the steps you would need to follow:

    1. Make sure you have a full backup of your site.
    2. Deactivate all other plugins except TranslatePress and WooCommerce.
    3. Switch to a default WordPress theme (such as Twenty Twenty-One).
    4. Clear your site and browser cache.
    5. Check if the problem still persists.

If the problem doesn’t persist when only TranslatePress and WooCommerce are active with a default theme, it means there’s a compatibility issue with another plugin or theme you’re using. You can reactivate them one by one until the issue reappears, to identify the source of the conflict.

Regarding the translation without “/fr/” in the URL, currently, the language code in the URL is required to inform TranslatePress about the language that should be displayed. At the moment, there is no feature to turn this off.

    Best Regards,
