WooCommerce and Authorize.net

    I have a question about woocommerce integration and Authorize.net.

    When using the woocommerce integration plugin to sell memberships as products does the payment get processed through woocommerce and the authorize.net plugin for woocommerce or does it still get processed through PMPro and its authorize.net integration?

    Is the checkout for a membership as a woocommerce product though the woocommerce checkout process or is it through the checkout process of PMPro?

    What would be the suggested plugins needed if I would like to have woocommerce setup to sell other products as well as memberships as products from PMPro and use authorize.net as my payment gateway?

    My thoughts are that I need:
    PaidMembershipsPro
    WooCommerce
    WooCommerce integration for PMPro
    Authorize.net(CIM) for WooCommerce

    But I am a little confused because both PMPro and woo use Authorize.net and I need to know which will do the processing and which Authorize.net plugin for woo is appropriate, CIM to support recurring payments or not because the support for Authorize.net through PMPro handles that.

    Any WooCommerce checkout will use any payment gateway settings you have set up in WooCommerce, not PMPro to process payments.

    You can use WooCommerce to sell any type of product you wish. The PMPro WooCommerce addon does not limit any WooCommerce features, only adds new ones.

    So basically to answer all your questions – WooCommerce processes WooCommerce checkouts and will not use PMPro’s payment options at all, so yes you will need the Authorize.net for WooCommerce plugin.
