Woocommerce Analytics Variations problem

Hi @danielgc,

This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. The best way to determine this is to:

• Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
• Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
• Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated.

To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.

You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

I’d also suggest installing a plugin called Health Check & Troubleshooting. It allows you to disable plugins without affecting your current site visitors.

If that doesn’t resolve the problem, please share a copy of your System Status as found under WooCommerce > Status and a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if available) for further checks.

I tried all your suggestions, and even (using the plugin you suggested me) disabling all plugins and using storefront, the problem persists. I think it is the same bug described in github on analytics page going blank.

Hi @danielgc,

Thanks for your System Status report.

What I see on your Server Environment is that you could do some changes. For example, you could try to change the PHP Version if a most recent version is available on your host. Also, you could increase the PHP Max Input Vars to at least 3000.

Another suggestion would be removing the WooCommerce plugin folder via FTP and reinstalling the plugin again in the backend.

*Make sure to have a full backup in place before any changes*

I’ve found an issue with Analytics on this Github report but it was closed as updating to the last version of WooCommerce solved it. I’m not aware of another Github report open with a similar issue.

I did update the max_input_vars = 3000 but same problem is happening. I don’t think I can risk now to delete WC and install it again, but thx anyway, I hope this gets fixed in next versions. Meanwhile, the client can create reports from week to week.

If you have a full back there shouldn’t be many risks but I understand your point. Since this sounds more like server-related you could also get in touch with your host.

Another thing that comes to mind is checking for a fatal-error log under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. That may give you some more clues on what the issue could be related to.
