Could you share a screenshot of WooCommerce → Settings → Tax page? Also, share screenshots of individual taxes you have set up in the WooCommerce Settings.
Once I have more information, I will be in a better position to assist you further.
This seems like a unique case. To troubleshoot further, I recommend clearing the analytics cache by navigating to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and running the Clear Analytics Cache tool.
If the figures still appear incorrect after that, try reimporting your historical data. You can follow this guide for more details: WooCommerce Analytics Cache
I’m sorry to hear that clearing the Analytics Cache didn’t fix the issue. Let’s try another tool. Could you try to reimport your historical data. This process can help align your analytics with the actual data.
Go to WooCommerce > Analytics > Settings and click the Import Historical Data button after selecting last 365 days. After the import, check the tax columns to see if it’s working correctly.
As a next step, please temporarily disable all active plugins and have only WooCommerce as the active plugins, then head over to WooCommerce > Analytics > Settings?and click the?Import Historical Data button again.
Hi @netcomagency, thank you for the effort and the additional details! I was able to recreate this issue.
The Analytics report seems to be sensitive to tax rule edits, treating the result as essentially a new tax. In my case, I added a tax, completed an order, then deleted the tax. When I added back exactly the same tax, the tax report split the tax from a second order, as if it were 2 separate taxes.
This is also not how I would expect it to work, and agree it’s a bug. I wanted to report it, but found this existing issue that’s being worked on, and a proposed fix, waiting for approval:
Subscribe to either or both of those issues. Then you’ll be notified when they progress.
While not ideal, a workaround in the meantime, is to check the boxes in the Analytics report, next to the split taxes. Then click the Compare button. That will show you a focussed report.
Select the relevant taxes and compare for a single reportThe report shows the selected taxes on one page
Hope the bug will be resolved soon. Have a great week-end !
?While we may not have the exact timespan when this would be fixed, I recommend using the workaround shared by my colleague above. In the meantime, we thank you for your patience while our developers work on a possible fix.
