    Hi,

I am really having a hard time to get an acceptable page speed.

    What I′ve done so far:
Spoke with hostingprovider (greengeeks) they tell me i am not using my ressources up, and my current plan is strong enough to handle Woocommerce. They ran X-ray and tell me that what slows my page down is Woocommerce and Elementor.

I have Litespeed caching, optimized images, using DNS, cache, html, JS, CSS optimized, combined, inline ect.
Cleaned database, limiting the plugins to a minimum, cleaning up media libary on server.
Disabling Ajax cart, only show 20 products pr page.

All this and i am still seeing horrible loading times of 3-12 seconds!

here is a GTmetrix test i did on a product page.

    https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.bazaarisland.com/H2v3ElfI/

    Can someone advise me please?

    Thanks and best Regards
    Sebastian

    Hi @judagutor

Thanks for the links, I′ve have already read them before posting here, but no help.
That’s why i reached out here, with a link to gtmetrix and my page and stating i tried basically everything i could imagine, hoped some kind soul maybe would look at gtmetrix report and come with specific advice what i could do next.
I think i read the two first pages of google search for “woocommerce page speed”

thing, the instant i turn on woocommerce it just smack on 3+ seconds on my page load speed

I re-ran a gtmetrix test and noticed it’s minutely improved: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.bazaarisland.com/KvR4Z9iI/. Did you make any changes?

    Meanwhile:
Slow wp sites are mostly influenced by plugin or themes. The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Retest the product link on gtmetrix after clearing your cache

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.`

Hi, and thanks for joining and taking a look at this ??

Yes! I stopped using Litespeed Cache and changed to W3 total cache, wich very strangely took the about 5,5s backend off server response time that i was seeing with litespeed cache. I did however see only slower speed with css/js/html combine, inline ect. so i turned that off entirely inside w3 total cache.

I already been through that process you describe, and the only thing i found out is that when i turn on woocommerce and everything else is turned off, it adds 3-5 seconds.

I was looking at the DOM and Largest Contentful Paint, but I don’t really understand if that could be the problem and even more how to get around and solve that, if it is the case.

    Hi there,

Thanks for getting back to us.

In order for us to get a better understanding of your setup, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Cheers.
