After the first item has been added to the cart, if I try to add another item to the cart, it says successfully added, but the cart is unaltered.
If I try to change the amount of this item in the cart and update it, the spinners spin for a while on the screen, but when they finish spinning, the cart is unaltered.
I have disabled all plugins, and the problem still occurred.
There is no caching running on the server.
Running latest WP, latest WooCommerce and latest Divi theme.
Any help with this is much appreciated!

    Hi,

I did some testing on your site and I am seeing the same thing. In fact, there was already a bottle in the cart when I came to your site for the first time. I added several different bottles and none of them actually get added, though the live headers look things should be working. I also tried to increase the quantity in the cart, but no good.

This really “feels” like persistent caching or some kind of proxy.

Looking at your HTTP headers I see that caching is disabled (but present) and that you do have a proxy. The proxy is in BYPASS mode, but it’s to coincidental to not be a part of the equation.

Can you try disabling the proxy all together and then test?

The other thing you might try is a duplicate of your site where you can disable all plugins and switch to a default theme like Storefront to test.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for your help Shane!
My hosting company pointed out that some of the WP database tables were grayed out in PHPAdmin because they didn’t have Primary keys or Autoincrement enabled.
When the whole site was moved to a different host a couple of months ago something must have gone wrong with the SQL import, resulting in corrupted tables.
This is what was causing the problems, and I’ve managed to repair all the tables, as far as I can tell.
The cart appears to be working again!
Thanks again… I should have checked the WP log file right at the start, it would have saved us all some time!
