WooCommerce Add-On for LearnPress not working

  • for at least a few weeks now, maybe two latest plugin updates of learnpress woocommerce add-on haven’t worked, when cuaters pay for a an online course.

    The problem is shown when people like to press paypal or/credit, debit card payment buttons. The result is an error message that their login name or: ” your payment can not be processed due to various fees”. This is written in Swedish language so my English error text is freely translated.

    But the bottom line is that the plugin is at fault. People have at times logged in as users prior to payment, order, and sometimes first time users, orders.

    Is this an issue because the plugin lifetime license need to be having a payed for, renewed extended time of at least a year?

    My WordPress version: 6.7.2
    Learnpress version: 4.2.7.9
    LearnPress WooCommerce add-on version:

    Is this the new name for WooCommerce add-on?
    – LearnPress – WooCommerce Payment Methods Integration: Version 4.1.3

    Theme from Kadence: Kadence Theme.
    (Never been any problem using Learnpress/Thimpess combined with Kadence Theme from Kadence)

    Based on the versions you’ve provided, it appears you are using an older version of the LearnPress – WooCommerce Payment Methods Integration add-on (4.1.3). Please update the add-on to the latest version, 4.1.6, and test the payment process again.

    If the issue persists after updating, please try purchasing a standard WooCommerce product (not a course) to determine if the problem is specific to courses or a general payment processing issue.

    I know this forum is not a forum for Thimpress to answer paying clients. That said, I will place this question in your Thimpress forum instead.

    But to respond so others may find an answer who seem to sufffer the same issue with functionality with woocommerce itself combined with Thimpress add-on/plugin as I have and still do.

    I didnt really get an asnwer to that.

    But it seems that is the case, I have to pay for an update/extension of the plugin/add-on. I am okey with that. But it would be had been very helpfull if that was said on your site and in communication right away, by Thimpress/you.

    Regarding your query about the lifetime license and the need for additional payments: when you purchase a LearnPress add-on individually, you receive a lifetime license for use on a single site, as clearly stated in the purchase information.

    If you encounter an outdated version, you can easily update it for free. Simply navigate to LearnPress -> Add-ons, find the add-on with an update notification, and update it. There are no additional costs for these updates. Typically, any bugs or issues are resolved through these updates.

    Please update the LearnPress – WooCommerce Payment Methods Integration add-on to the latest version (4.1.6) and see if the payment issue you’re experiencing is resolved.
