    Hi,

We are searching for plugins that will add onto woocommerce.

Our business is a franchise, where each franchisee has different prices. Hence, we cannot put prices up on the shop, and we would like the customer to contact us directly through a button/contact form.

So we would like to create the following features on Product pages:
    – No prices listed
    – A button that we can add to Short Description (on Product page), that will pop-up with an iFrame form (code) we use to sync to our CRM.
    – Remove the “Out of stock” message (as we won’t be showing prices and inventory numbers).

We came across a website that does this (www.poolwerx.com.au) and see they are using fancybox plugin, but we are looking for alternative solutions.

    Appreciate any suggestions.
    Thanks
    Matt

    Hi there,

I understand you’d like some features on the product page.

    No prices listed

You create a product and not insert any price. When going to the product page, no price will be displayed. You can see an example here: https://prin.page/product/test-3/.

A button that we can add to Short Description (on Product page), that will pop-up with an iFrame form (code) we use to sync to our CRM.

May I ask you if I understand correctly? You would like to add a button to the Product short description box that will display a popup when pressed, right?

Remove the “Out of stock” message (as we won’t be showing prices and inventory numbers).

If no price is inserted, the “out of stock” message will not appear. If you want to be certain, please do the following:
    1. Go to your site’s dashboard.
    2. On the left sidebar, click on Products.
    3. Select any product you don’t want to display the “out of stock” message.
    4. Scroll down to Product data and click on the Inventory tab.
    5. Make sure Enable stock management at product level is not selected and Stock status is In stock.

You can read more about setting product data here: https://woocommerce.com/document/managing-products/#product-data.

    Hi Prin S,
Thanks for taking the time to get back to me. I didn’t receive a notification that you had messaged, and have only just seen your response.

No Price Listed: Got it, thanks. My website person did use something else to remove price, but I will advise of this.

Pop-up Button in Product Short Description. Yes, this is correct. In simple format; pop-up with form for customer to contact us.

If we don’t have a price visible, we would like the customer to contact us directly. Our iFrame contact form talks to our CRM to identify to whom/where the enquiry needs to be directed. So whether that is in the Product Short Description or if it is added to the Product page (preferably towards the top).

Remove out of stock message: We don’t seem to have the option to “Manage Stock”. Is this because it is set-up as a Variable product? Please see screenshot on this link: https://www.shop.pristinewatersystems.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Screen-Shot-2022-05-18-at-4.50.56-pm.png

    Thanks for your assistance!

    Hello,

    Thanks for writing back!

So whether that is in the Product Short Description or if it is added to the Product page (preferably towards the top).

You can add the code for your form directly to the Product Short Description. Alternatively, I would recommend you use a plugin like Code Snippets to manage the HTML, CSS and JavaScript and just insert the shortcode it generates in the product description box.

Remove out of stock message: We don’t seem to have the option to “Manage Stock”. Is this because it is set-up as a Variable product?

For Variable products, you can find the options inside each variation – see the image below as reference.
