email title for canceled orders is wrong and doesn’t work correctly for cancel orders in woocommerce 8.5x maybe, especially on 8.5.2 (I see the problem in this version)

i recived a email for canceled order with this (below) title

It looks as if the variables are shown in the title!

    [{site_title]: ????? # {order_number Order ??? ??

    translate to english for you

    [{site_title]: Order # {order_number Order cancelled

    you can see this image

I want to go back to 8.4. Because 8.5X has many problems. But many plugins and templates have adapted themselves to 8.5 and I don’t know what risks and problems can limit the site with WooCommerce. And this is a big hole in which we are stuck! However, it seems that I have to go back to previous versions.

    Hi @paulvek,

I’ve tried to recreate the issue you’re experiencing on my end. However, everything appears to be functioning correctly, both on my testing site and even on a production site that I manage.

I also noticed that you have created a bug report about this in our GitHub repo here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/44341

However, while I understand your concern about downgrading to version 8.4 due to compatibility issues with your plugins and templates, I recommend against it. Downgrading could potentially lead to more problems and instability on your site.

Instead, I suggest you update your WooCommerce to the latest version if you haven’t already, as we continually make updates and bug fixes. If you’re already on the latest version, a temporary solution could be to use the default setting, as shown in the image below.

In the meantime, you can also run a conflict test to help you identify the cause of the issue. More info: https://woo.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

Let us know how that goes for you.

@shameemreza Thank you for your time. I will take the test again in another situation and announce the result.

Thanks again a lot @shameemreza You can mark this as solved.
It seems that the problem occurred in 2 different situations.
The first is that the order was placed when WooCommerce was version 8.4. And when we changed the order to Canceled, the WooCommerce version was 8.5.2! That is, order registration was in 8.4 and the change to cancel was made in version 8.5.2!
The second possibility is perhaps more likely. There are problems with hosting and site servers. Our server may have experienced problems. Anyway, we didn’t understand exactly what the problem was! But it seems that there is no problem now, although we finally did not find the reason.
