Purchase works with the default WooCommerce setup, not need for the paid plugin.

You probably need to use custom thank you pages, and yes, that’s a premium feature.

As for “count double”, the Purchase event is page dependent, so if your client returns on the order confirmation page, the full URL with all the order’s parameters, the event can fire again. And yes, we have a feature in the paid plugin that avoids this particular scenario.
