    I’ve updated from 3.4.5 to 3.4.6 and the product import isnt working.
    Even if I export the current products, and try to import them, without changing anything I get

    “Invalid file type. The importer supports CSV and TXT file formats.”

    I have tried it on 3.4.5 with no issue, could you please advise?

  • I think our issues may be related… There is an issue with importing, exporting to Square and syncing in relation to a recent update of at least WooCommerce and maybe a conflict with Jetpack. I had to disable my other three non-WooCommcerce plugins (Advanced Custom Fields, Akismet Anti-Spam & Jetpack by WordPress.com) to get exporting to work, but syncing is another story… Keep in mind that my website is tied to my Square which we use as the register for our store. So, the longer syncing does not occur, the more inaccurate our inventory records become between our website and register. As of right now, my website says that we have different product quantities than we really have because Square is not syncing to WooCommerce and WooCommerce is not syncing to Square with product changes or orders.

    I checked the logs and it says nothing about the issues… Once I disabled the plugins, shorts of WooCommcerce’s, I re-saved the CVS file as a Excel 97 Workbook file rather than CVS/TXT and it seemed to work, at least in Square.

    I have the feeling that there will be quite a few people this coming week who will realize the bug and join this conversation.
